Level 1 English Communication Full Course

Course Description

Teacher in Charge:

An internally assessed course where learners will develop the appropriate writing and

communication skills needed for L2ENCOM English. Learners will produce assignments

based on a project. Learners will have the opportunity to gain fifteen L1 credits.

Topics covered include Research, Close reading, Visual design, CV creation, Opinion/letter

writing and more.


Topics Covered:

  • Demonstrate understanding of how context shapes verbal language use.
  • Demonstrate understanding of specific aspects of studied text.
  • Develop ideas in writing using stylistic and written conventions.

Recommended Prior Learning

Year 10 English

Course Costs and Equipment (this cost is only indicative)

$30 for Education Perfect, Grammarly, and photocopying.
