Year 10 Textiles Technology
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs D. Davies.
This is a practical based course that is run over one semester (2 terms).
Learners will:
- develop an understanding of how to interpret pattern information,
- use stretch fabric and the fabric printer to enhance their Tīhāte (Tee-shirt)
- Practical skills will be developed that support the issues being investigated
Garments: Skills based tie dyed bag, Tīhāte (Tee-shirt) and sweatpants.
Recommended Prior Learning
Yr 10 Textiles builds on the skills learnt in Yr 9 Textiles
