Level 1 Business Studies

Course Description

Business Studies is all about how businesses work in theory and in practice. 

This year learners will create, plan and run their own business during a one-off Market Day here at Whangaparāoa College. Learners will study the internal features of a small business and see how these same features relate to a larger business when they complete a trip to Rainbows End toward the end of the year. 

Topics Covered: 

- Apply the marketing mix to a new or existing product 

- Carry out and review a product-based business activity within a classroom context with direction

None. This course is open entry

$60 Rainbow’s End trip. (Travel, entrance and interview with HR department)
