Year 8 Textiles introduces learners to the skills of textile design and construction in a practical sense.
Learners will:
- use patterns to construct a personal Pēke taura/Drawstring Bag for their use, using machine skills
- create a hand stitched item to develop hand eye skills and the simple enjoyment of creating unique crafts
