In Y9 Drama, learners explore drama as an art form and learn to structure imagined worlds using drama conventions, techniques and technologies. They work on creating, devising and performing. Learners will use drama techniques of voice, body, movement and space and drama elements of role, time, space, place, mood and symbol. Learners will learn about the theatre form of physical theatre and will use key features in their performance. They will also learn a short script and perform an acting role in a dramatic context.
