Year 9 Materials Technology/Design and Visual Communication

Design and Visual Communication DVC Introduces the students to the world of communication through design. They will learn new skills in sketching and model making to produce eye-catching presentations of Shoe Box designs and graphics using basic graphics techniques. The Materials Technology part of the course challenges learners to understand the technology design process, then use these principles to design and construct a product using a range of materials in the school workshop.
