This is a TWO period a week course (half course) with half of the year spent focusing on the Biological concepts of DNA and the Inheritance of Characteristics (Genetics), and half of the year focusing on Ecological sustainability and the impact of human actions on the environment (Ecology).

The field trip to Tiritiri Matangi Island will have an additional cost. This will be advised when trip details are finalised and sent to parents from the Schoolbridge platform. Field trip costs are to be paid via the Kindo app. In 2023 this fee was $45.
