The core subject is Mathematics. If you have not gained your Literacy Corequisite already, you will also need to select an English course as part of your core options. 

The Mathematics course that you are enrolled in will be decided by the HoL based on your results in the subject this year. 

* Choose SIX full courses 

* We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you select a full course from the Hauora Learning Area. These include PE (theory based), Practical PE, Health, Dance, Drama, Visual Art Design, Music, Māori Performing Arts and General Social Studies. 

* Subjects are arranged by learning area and you are allowed to take more than one course per learning area (eg: you could take both History and Business Studies).

* HOWEVER,  you cannot take more than 2 Science courses. 

NB: If you wish to take two "different" full Technology courses this is fine. However, you will need to discuss this further with a Technology Teacher, since there are certain AS that overlap (and only one of them will count for your Level certificate).
