Level 3 Textiles
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs D. Davies.
Learners will work from a self-driven brief to present written and practical solutions. Design planning and construction techniques are emphasised throughout the course.
Learners will:
- Produce a high-quality outcome for their chosen client/s using complex skills.
- Through testing and trialing develop a unique piece of fabric. Learners will explore methods of repeat design, this will then be printed commercially for the development of a garment.
- Using their metre of personally designed fabric learners will construct a high quality garment, this garment could be anything from a formal coat to a delicate dress

$75 Some patterns and fabric for garment must be purchased by the learner, the majority is provided within the fees

Number of credits that can be used for overall endorsement: 18
