Learners will create advanced responsive websites and connect their websites to a database using PHP / MySQL. They will also learn how to plan and construct advanced programs using JavaScript.

Open entry – Digital Technology at level 1 and mathematics skills are an advantage. Learners with no prior web design or programming experience may take this course.

- Google Docs/Sheets
- Google Chrome
Whangaparaoa College utilises an online code editing environment and database management system where all learner work can be completed through the Chrome browser. Tablet based devices are not suitable for this course.
