Level 3 Physical Education
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr T. Bayes-Powell.
Learners who select Level 3 Physical Education will build on their knowledge from previous years. In Level 3 Physical Education learners will be given some choice to create parts of their own learning program. Learners will be presented with a variety of achievement standards covering topics of methods and principles of training, skill acquisition, performance, research topics and more. Learners will develop and apply critical thinking skills and learn to challenge assumptions.
Recommended Prior Learning
Nil – Levels 1 and 2 Physical Education an advantage, but not necessary. Discussion with HOL if L2 Physical Education not taken.
Course Contribution and Equipment (this value is only indicative)
$85. This includes the entry fee to the tough guy/girl challenge, trips, and outside instructors.
Credit Information
You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
