Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr D. Middleton.
Design and Visual Communication is a creative visual language concerned with real-life problems and uses design sketches, drawings, illustrations, annotation and computer-generated images to communicate Spatial or Product design ideas.
Sketching and drawing techniques/Rapid visualisation/Advanced presentation skills using different modes and media/Advanced research and analysis techniques/Design history/Sketchup computer modelling/ 3D modelling/Typography/Advertising and marketing and design of products/Architecture Design/constructive and critical analysis and evaluation.
Recommended Prior Learning
It is highly recommended that learners can sketch and draw confidently to clearly communicate their ideas, to be successful in DVC.
