Level 2 Media Studies
Course Description
Level Two Media Studies introduces concepts and ideas as tools for analysing and interpreting a visual text. This allows learners to begin to develop an understanding of the technical aspects of media production. Learners then create their own short film, applying skills learned during the year.
Topics Covered:
- Demonstrate an understanding of narrative media in texts
- Demonstrate understanding of representation in the media
- Complete a developed media product from a design and plan, using a range of conventions
- Demonstrate understanding of an aspect of a media genre
